What makes this box different?

Unlike the insulated box with loose Isoliner sheets, the honeycomb insulated box has the insulation already built into the wall. That wall is a 100% paper combination of honeycomb cardboard (Hexacomb) and corrugated cardboard. The many hexagonal air chambers in the honeycomb act as insulation: they trap still air and so slow down heat transfer, the same principle as Styrofoam.

The result is an insulation value comparable to expanded polystyrene (EPS), but fully renewable, recyclable and biodegradable. After use, the box simply goes in with the waste paper.

The honeycomb structure makes this box insulating and particularly sturdy and shape-retaining. Where an ordinary cool box can dent, the honeycomb wall supports weight and resists pressure. Supplied flat, quick to set up

The box is supplied flat rather than pre-assembled. This saves considerable storage space and transport costs. For the best cooling result, fill the box as tightly as possible and place a cooling element on top of the product, as cold air sinks and so cools evenly. With the right cooling elements you can bridge 24 to 48 hours of transit, from chilled (2 to 8 °C) to frozen, without a refrigerated vehicle.

What is the honeycomb cool box suitable for?
