Thermal pallet cover or insulated cover: same product
A thermal pallet cover, an insulated pallet cover and an insulation cover are, in practice, the same kind of product: a reusable cover that protects a pallet or load against temperature swings. Only the name differs. At Cooled Solutions you will find all these versions together in the thermal pallet cover collection, available from stock and made in our own production since 1972.

One product, many names
Thermal cover, thermo cover, insulated pallet cover and cargo cover are names for the same cover that is placed over the load. This is stated literally on our product pages: insulation cover, thermal pallet cover, thermal blanket, thermal cover, thermo cover and cargo cover are all names for the same product.
More important than the name is what the cover does. The covers reduce temperature swings during transport. A more stable temperature around the load means the product arrives in better quality.
Spelling variants and related names for the insulation cover
You will come across several spellings. Thermal covers is the plural and thermo cover is another way of writing it. A thermal pallet cover stresses that the cover goes over a pallet. Thermal pallet covers is the plural and another name for the same covers.
Then there is the series with insulation as the key word. An insulation cover and an insulated cover are the same term, and insulation covers is the plural. A pallet insulation cover also refers to the same product: a cover with an insulating layer that encloses the load.
A thermal insulation cover works passively. The cover does not actively cool, it slows down temperature change.
Thermal cover, thermal pallet cover and more
Internationally the name changes, the product does not. A thermal cover is the short form. Thermal covers is the plural. A thermal pallet cover points explicitly to a pallet, and thermal pallet covers is the plural. One example from our range is the thermal pallet cover of 120 x 80 x 150 cm, intended for euro pallets.
There are also variants with insulated in the name. Insulated pallet cover is a term from air freight terminology for the same cover. Our thermal insulation covers measure 120 x 100 x 160 cm.

Whether you call the cover a thermal pallet cover or a thermal cover, the size decides whether it fits. Below you can see what we supply, with the sizes from our range.

For euro pallets and block pallets there is also a double-layer version. The covers are reusable and made of sturdy material for long-term use.
Why you should not forget the base
Warm air rises, so the underside of a pallet is quickly forgotten. An insulated base of bubble film laminated with aluminum closes off the whole load. We have bases for euro pallets (110 x 150 cm) and block pallets (130 x 150 cm), also in double-layer and 8 mm thick. Many customers order the base together with the cover. You will find more packaging for refrigerated shipping in our cold chain packaging.
